What are the Health Benefits of Lemon?

Lemon essential oil, with its fresh fragrance, is excellent in fighting anxiety, depression, and the feeling of sluggishness. It has the ability to brighten one's outlook, leaving the mind alert and clear.

An great detoxifier and astringent for the skin with those that have acne, boils, corns, oily complexions, mouth ulcers, insect bites, and stings.

And a wonderful essential oil to use for muscular or joint aches and pains, arthritis, and joint swelling.

A note of caution: This essential oil is a photosensitizing oil, meaning that it can cause sensitivity to the sun (on the treated area) if used in abundance and or often. Recommend using in blends (low dosages) and sparingly on the skin if you plan on being outdoors.
